Stacked against the wall you lay,
Basking in the radiant twilight ray.
Arranged in random,
But filled with wisdom.
Trusting fingers of a child you led,
As many magnificent realms, we tread.
I followed you many leagues into the oceans,
And witnessed its incredible denizens.
Lightyears away in space,
In exotic spaceships we did race.
Flew away my lonely throes,
As I battled several formidable foes,
Right beside my admirable heroes.
Fearsome dark lords, I fought,
Criminal perpetrators, I caught,
And friends for life, I got.
Mysteries I solved,
My perspectives evolved,
My growing sensibility I loved,
And you became my beloved.
In you, my tears I dumped,
Hence my fears I triumphed,
In you, my loneliness I lost,
When you counselled at no cost.
When creativity and passion converge,
From bookworms, literary dragons emerge.
