My name is very special to me because it was chosen by my beloved grandfather. He was an admirable man who believed deeply in meditation. Nirguna is the higher state of vibration attained through meditation and spiritual seeking. In a particular branch of faith, it is believed that the entire universe is a single, conscious entity; all our consciousness are connected, and we are all part and parcel of the magnificent, pure, all-prevailing conscious entity that pervades all beings.
This single entity is said to exist without any attributes. In the ancient language of Sanskrit, ‘Nir’ means ‘without’ and ‘Guna’ means ‘attributes’. To reach this state is to become one with the universe and achieve exaltation.
If I’m to be a flower,
Let me be a Jasmine,
Pure and fragrant.
If I’m to be a colour,
Let me be the blue of the deepest ocean,
Deep, tranquil, composed and unperturbed.
If I’m to be a taste,
Let me be chocolate,
Sweet and Therapeutic.
If I’m to be a fabric,
Let me be wool,
Exuding nothing but warmth.
If I’m to be a musical Instrument,
Let me be the flute,
Harnessing life energy to make delightful music.
If I’m to be food,
Let me be books and meditation,
Nourishment to the mind and soul.
If I’m to be a place,
Let me be a haven for those who seek shelter,
Both from others and themselves.
If I’m to be a sound,
Let me be the celestial hum,
The sound of the universe.
My name is Nirguna,
The only, single conscious entity,
That exists in us all,
Intangible, elusive and yet ubiquitous.
I am you,
You are me,
We are God,
And God is in us all.

I love this the best d of all your writings till date…just wow…🙂
